Can I recategorise pending transactions?
Technically yes, you can recategorise your pending transactions. But we recommend you to wait until the transactions become 'posted' (authorised and processed by the bank), then you recategorise them. The reason being is: Your recategorisation may be reset after the bank changes pending to posted transactions.
Can I make my categorisation changes apply to future transactions?
Yes! When you update a transaction category, you can choose “Apply to all current and future transactions”. This ensures all future transactions
Can I just change the bucket and keep the same category for my transactions?
Yes, you can. When you are recategorising your transaction, just keep the same category as the original one, then at the step of selecting a bucket, you can select any bucket you wish to apply for your transaction.
Will recategorising affect my reports and budgets?
Yes! Once a transaction is recategorised, your cashflow and budgets will automatically update to reflect the new category.
Can I reset my categorisation rules?
There is no 'reset' button for that purpose, but you can recategorise your transactions back to the original one and apply the change to future.
Can I recategorise multiple transactions at once?
Currently, you can recategorise transactions one by one. However, in the background we are developing the function that can help you select multiple transactions to take action so watch out for the app release to get the most updated features from Frollo.
Why isn’t my recategorisation applying to future transactions?
This issue affected some transactions due to a past bug. If you’re still experiencing it, please Submit a request to our team, so we can help fix the categorisation rule for you.
Can I create more than one tag to my transactions?
Yes you can. To create different tags to a same transaction, you just need to add them one by one.
Why can’t I change the name or description of my transactions anymore?
If you are using our iOS app, you might have noticed our newly redesigned transaction details screen. As part of this update, we have disabled the ability to edit the original transaction description. Instead of altering the official description, we encourage you to use the Transaction Note feature to add your own personal context or tags to a purchase.
I added a Note, but it doesn't show up in my main transaction list. Why?
We hear you! Currently, the main transactions list displays the merchant name or transaction description, which means your personal notes won't appear there just yet. Our team is actively working on an update that will display your Transaction Notes directly in the main list, so you can easily identify your spending at a glance. Thanks for bearing with us while we bridge this gap!
Why does the app look different on my friend's Android phone?
We are rolling out our new transaction details experience on iOS first. If you or a friend are using an Android device, you will still see the older version of the screen (which allows description editing) for a little while longer. Android will be updated to the new design in a future release.
