1. What is the “Share with Mortgage Broker” feature?
This feature lets you securely share your financial data from the Frollo app directly with your mortgage broker. It replaces manual statements and speeds up verification during the loan process.
2. Who can I share my data with?
You can share your data with mortgage brokers who are registered on Frollo for Brokers. This registration allows them to appear in your app and establish the Trusted Adviser connection that enables secure data sharing.
3. How do I find my mortgage broker in the app?
Tap on the Share icon at top navigation on the dashboard.
Search by:
Email address
Name
Company name
Select your broker from the results, then follow the prompts to share your data.
4. What if my broker isn’t on Frollo yet?
If they aren’t registered, you can invite them to join Frollo for Brokers so you can share your data with them.
5. How does the data sharing process work for new users invited by a broker?
If you were invited by your mortgage broker:
Create your Frollo account
Connect your accounts
Share your data in one simple consent flow. This sets everything up quickly and securely.
6. How do existing Frollo users share data with a broker?
If you already have a Frollo account:
Open the Dashboard
Tap Share at the top
Search for your broker
Confirm consent. Your broker then receives secure access to your shared data.
7. What data can I share with my broker?
You can share the accounts you have consented to within Frollo, including transaction data, balances and other financial information relevant to loan assessment.
8. How often is my data disclosed to my mortgage broker?
After you provide consent, your broker can refresh your data multiple times during the active consent period. They can access the latest financial data available without you having to re-authorise each refresh.
9. How long can my broker access my data for?
When you give consent, you can choose to share your data for 3, 6, or 12 months. During that time, your broker can refresh your data as often as needed.
10. Will I be notified every time my broker refreshes my data?
No — while your broker can update the data as often as needed within the consent period, you won’t receive a notification for each refresh.
11. Where can I see who I’ve shared data with?
All your active broker connections live in:
Data Sharing > Outgoing Data
Here you can see who has access and manage your sharing settings.
12. Can I stop sharing my data?
Yes — you can withdraw your consent at any time by:
Going to Data Sharing > Outgoing Data
Selecting the broker
Following the prompt to stop data sharing
Once stopped, your broker will no longer receive updates.
13. Can I share with more than one broker?
Yes — you can share with multiple trusted brokers one by one. Each will appear in the Outgoing Data dashboard.
14. Is my data safe?
Yes. Frollo uses the government-regulated Consumer Data Right (CDR) framework and strong security practices to keep your data secure. You are always in control of consent and can stop sharing at any time.
